HOTEL, RESTAURANTS AND DATES INFORMATION

For years this has become the home base for those attending the Wichita Show.

Best Western Plus Eastgate Inn & Suites, 8300 E Kellogg Drive, 67207 - Hotel Direct Number (316) 682-3000.  Email is fd@bestwesternwichita.com This is the newest and is between Super 8 and the Econo Lodge. Larger rooms, more money, very nice in case you can’t get into the other;

Wichita Motel 6 East, 8302 E Kellogg 67207  (316-612-4646). This is east of Super 8 & Best Western.  These are all north of Kellogg, west off of Webb Road;

Wichita Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Dr, 67207.  316-651-0333.

Hampton Inn  9449 E Corporate Hills Dr 67207  316-686-3576  

If you phone the Super 8 and they say they are full, ask them to take your name and number for their waiting list, and then go ahead and make a reservation with one of these other motels.  As you get closer to the time for coming to Wichita, call the Super 8 again and ask where you stand on their waiting list.  Often they will have had cancellations and you will be able to get a room at the Super 8 and cancel your room at the other motel.  Call at different times of the day or night so you will be speaking with someone else at the front desk.  Be happy and cheerful and tell them you are coming for the postcard show and want to be with your friends there. 

RESTAURANTS

We have many good and interesting restaurants in Wichita, so ask around for suggestions and you will eat well and have a good time.  Going with other postcarders is just about the most fun ever, so try it when you are at the Wichita Show.
